This book is about three young siblings who have no parents because they died in a horrible fire. They're names are Violet Baudalaire(the oldest), Klause Baudalaire(second Oldest),and Sunny Bauldalaire(baby sister). Since they're parents died they were sent to live with their relative named Count Olaf. But things didn't work out. The Baudalaires did not know that Count Olaf was trying to steal the Baudalaires fortune.So they escaped from Count Olaf and ever since then Olaf followed them everywhere trying to steal their fortune. Since the Baudalaire had no where to go a banker took care of them. The banker enrolled them into "PRUFROCK PREPARTORY SCHOOL" where they made friends who also had their parents killed
